You need to RSVP Judkin Browning (browningjj@appstate.edu) by Friday, April 8th, if you will be taking advantage of this free parking.  A parking services officer will be at the deck to raise the gate to permit entrance.  The tab for the parking will graciously be covered by the Appalachian State University History Department.  There is 2-hour metered parking on King Street as well.

HSNC members (who are also ASU History Department faculty) will be at the Parking Deck to guide you to the Whitewater Room in the Plemmons Union.

Directions to parking: From King Street (US 421), turn onto College Street (it only goes in one direction off of King Street).  The First Baptist Church is at the corner.  Go about 100 yards on College Street, and just before you get to the traffic circle, turn right into the Parking Deck entrance.  A Parking services officer will be standing there to make sure your name is on the list.

You can also enter the address for the First Baptist Church (375 West King Street) into your GPS and it will take you to the College Street intersection.

Want to car pool? Our current membership list is attached at the end once again in case some of you would like to carpool and thus are in need of a Boon(e) companion or two.
